From The Chester Chronicle of 4 August 1995: "Boy cyclist injured in crash. An afternoon bicycle ride ended with a youngster needing hospital treatment after being in collision with a car. Nathan Chrimes [sic], 14, of Greenway, Saughall, was travelling along the A540 Parkgate Road, at the junction with Coalpit Lane, when he was in collision with a red Volvo at 2:15 pm on Monday. Nathan was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital suffering from a broken leg. He is described as 'doing well'...." The aptly named Boundary Lane in Saltney has the England/Wales border down the middle of the street! Number 3 is in England. |
