Patrick J COLEMAN had married. Frances E DAVIES in 1925 Q3 at Liverpool. I cannot find a death record for Frances E Coleman 1939-46 so perhaps there was a divorce. Although his wife Hilda Annie continued to live at Honiton Road after 1949, someone named 'James' COLEMAN was living with her. This cannot be a child, as the record is of electors, so it may instead be that 'Patrick J' started to use a different form of his name. Perhaps his full name was Patrick James COLEMAN. This is confirmed by the entry in the 1939 Register which is entered as 'Coleman, Patrick J' but was annotated at a later date with the name 'James'. A Deaths Index record for 'Patrick Coleman' d.1974 Q4 Liverpool may apply, but gives date of birth as 26 June 1904. |
