The 1898 marriage was a civil ceremony. From The Crewe Chronicle of 11 November 1965: "The Late Mr. Frank Baskerville.[PHOTOGRAPH] The funeral took place of Thursday last week of Mr. Frank Baskerville, aged 95, who died at his home, 39 Remer-street, Crewe, on the previous Monday. Mr. Baskerville was well known in farming circles throughout South Cheshire. He began farming at Lower Withington, then moved to Pump Hose [sic] Farm, Scholar Green, and then to Foxley Hall Farm, Lymm from where he retired to live at Foxley, Crewe-road, Sandbach. His wife died in 1959, and it was then that he moved to Crewe. Mr. Baskerville held many posts in Methodism. He leaves one son and four daughters. The Rev. C.A. Somerscales officiated at Lower Withington Methodist Church and the organist was Mr. S. Bloor. The mourners were ... Miss M Chrimes ...
