A▮▮▮ Y▮▮▮▮▮'s existence was based initially on information from a relative of hers, J▮▮▮ Brameld in Australia, later confirmed by this, from The Brisbane Telegraph of 1 December 1954: "A TRUE HAIR OF THE DOG STORY Sydney: A two-year-old girl, who had 50 stitches put in her face after an Alsatian dog had bitten her, will get her birthday present wish - a dog. The girl is A▮▮▮ Y▮▮▮▮▮ Chrimes, of Illawong Avenue, Lane Cove. In the District Court she was awarded £250 damages against the owner of the Alsatian that bit her on December 19, 1953. A▮▮▮'s mother said A▮▮▮ still played happily with dogs, despite her experience. 'A▮▮▮ likes most dogs and wants one for her birthday' , Mrs. Chrimes said. 'She certainly won't get an Alsatian - she is terrified of them'". |
