Elsie May appears on the 1911 census in Pontefract where she was born, but as a "Niece" and not with a CHRIMES family.
She is shown as niece to Joseph and Charlotte Taylor, but in fact the niece will have been Sarah CHRIMES age 19, single, born Wednesbury, who will probably have been Elsie May's mother.
Also living with them was Jane CHRIMES, age 54, single, born Wednesbury who is described as "servant".
The question of Elsie May's parents is resolved by the facsimile of the Parish Register Entry of her Baptism. This was initially written so as to name the father as William Taylor, but this was then crossed through, leaving the mother as Sarah CHRIMES, declared as "Single Woman."
I cannot find any records for Elsie May beyond the 1911 England Census.
