Emma had married BROWN before marrying Henry Cash CHRIMES in 1859. The 1859 Marriage Register does not give residence or occupation for Emma. I cannot find Emma on the 1901 census. Emma's Administration record reads: "CHRIMES Emma of 23 Bickley Street Moss side Manchester widow died 17 March 1908 Administration (with Will) Ipswich 14 November [1927] to Elizabeth Garrard widow. Effects £515 1s" Why did it take 19 years for Emma's estate to be settled? |
