J▮▮▮▮ (25) from Galway Raod, Bircotes, used to work as an examiner at Meritina, Retford, and is pictured at Doncaster Royal Infirmary with M▮▮▮▮▮▮, her first child, who weighed in at 10lbs 12oz. Husband D▮▮▮▮, who works at Harworth Colliery, and J▮▮▮▮, are over the moon. 'We both wanted a boy, and yes we'll have another,' she said. M▮▮▮▮▮▮'s arrival also made it a double celebration as J▮▮▮▮ had a birthday in Christmas week."
From The Retford, Gainsborough & Worksop Times of 29 Apri 1999: [PHOTOGRAPH] "England Star's prize lesson - BIRCOTES and Harworth Community School pupil M▮▮▮▮▮▮ Chrimes recently entered a national competition arranged by Shoot Magazine which was sponsored by Adidas. M▮▮▮▮▮▮ was one of only five First Prize Winners in the whole of the country and his prize was a visit by an England International Goalkeeper...."
The marriage notice for M▮▮▮▮▮▮ D▮▮▮▮ reads: "Mr M D Chrimes Miss L C Ekins Married at St Mary's Church, Sprotbrough on Saturday 2nd July were miss L▮▮▮▮▮ C▮▮▮▮▮▮ Ekins daughter of Mr and Mrs Ray Ekins of Sprotbrough and Mr M▮▮▮▮▮▮ D▮▮▮▮ Chrimes son of Mr and Mrs D▮▮▮▮ Chrimes of Bircotes. Best man: Mr Mark Lawton Bridesmaids were Miss J▮▮▮▮ Ekins, Catherine Davis, Gemma Moore, Maria James and Jo Walton. Page boys were Nathan French and Nathaniel Robinson Ushers were Andy Horricks, Keith Hayes, Danny Wood, Craig Dallas and Lee Robinson. The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic. They will make their home at RAF Leeming."
