I cannot find Nora Winifred on the 1911 census. In the 1921 England Census Nora Winifred was 'Visitor' to the household of Robert John BROWN and his wife Laura Brown née CHRIMES. Nora Winifred travelled abroad. Nora Winifred did not marry. Nora Winifred's Grant of Probate record reads: "CHRIMES Nora Winifred of 42 Shirley Drive Hove Sussex spinster died 24 July 1960 at 279 Kingsway Hove Sussex Probate Lewes 5 October to Hilda Muriel Parry married woman Thomas Edward Chrimes retired British Railways superintendent. Effects £7843 12s. 1d." Nora Winifred is attached to her parents on the basis of the above Grant of Probate record only. In 1936 Nora Winifred returned to England from a trip to Buenos Aires, with her brother Thomas Edward, his wife Olive Lucy and Olive Lucy's parents. See www.billiongraves.com for an image of the gravestone. |
