In the 1921 England Census Emily Eliza (Widow) and Edith Irvine (daughter) were living in Birkenhead. The 1939 Register record is in the name "Edith I Chrymes". CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1953 marriage as "Wirral, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended". The death record in the name Edith Irvine Eades must relate to this person, the name being so unusual, but it gives date of birth as 31 October 1921 which cannot be correct. Edith Irvine's Grant of Administration reads: "EADES, Edith Irvine of 16 Mostyn Av Heswall Wirral Merseyside died 1 September 1978 Administration Liverpool 23 October £15568." |
