Thomas, Esther and their family moved from Weaverham to Liverpool in 1763/4 and returned to Northwich before 1777 (but see below). Thomas's second marriage is conjectural, based on the burial record of his presumed wife Jane, and an actual marriage between a "Thomas CRIME or CHRIMES" and Jenny Pickstock. This second marriage is recorded separately and differently as: Thomas Chrimes, Parish of Liverpool, Militia Soldier, married Jane Roberts of the same parish, spinster, by banns, on 8 June 1780 at St. Peter, Liverpool (ref. FindMyPast Lancashire Banns and Marriages). Perhaps Thomas married Jane twice. |
