From The Abergele & Pensarn Visitor of 10 January 1991: [PHOTOGRAPH] "BILL GETS IN GEAR FOR RETIREMENT Bachelor Bill Chrimes has finally come to the end of the road after 36 years patrolling the highways and byways. Mr. Chrimes, of Cefn, was given a farwell evening by his Automobile Association colleagues and family at the Dulas Arms, Llandulas. He was based in the North Wales Transport depot, Kinmel bay and AA operations manager for Wales Mr Alex Alexander presented him with an inscribed carriage clock." William Cuthbert was also known as Cuth. William Cuthbert's death notice reads: "CHRIMES - WILLIAM CUTHBERT (CUTH), 11th January 2011. Peacefully in hospital of Maes Owen, Bodelwyddan, aged 80 years. A dear brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral Service and Committal at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Monday, 24th January at 11.30 a.m. Family flowers only, donations gratefully accepted towards St. Kentigern Hospice" There is an entry in The London Gazette of 28 March 2011 asking for claimants to the estate following the death of: "CHRIMES, William Cuthbert, 3 Maes Owen, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire LL18 5TN.
