From The Cheshire Observer of 19 April 1974: "FUNERAL OF MRS. E. CRIMES The death occurred on 9th April of Mrs. Ethel Crimes, aged 62, of The Croft, Old Coach Road, Kelsall. The funeral took place on Saturday, when a service at Kelsall Methodist Church was conducted by Rev. C.M. Steel. The mourners were: The Widower (Mr. A. Crimes), Mr. and Mrs. J. Parry, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hague (sons-in-law and daughters), Mr. and Mrs. G. Crimes (son and daughter-in-law), Mr. R. Parry, Miss S. Parry, Mr. R. Crimes and Miss A. Crimes (grandchildren), Mr. T. Whitfield (brother) ... "
