From The Chester Chronicle of 20 August 1870: "MARRIAGES WILLIAM-CRIMES - 8th inst., at The Parish Church, Cheltenham, Mr. Henry Williams, organ builder, of Cheltenham, to Elizabeth, daughter of the late Mr. William Crimes, painter, of this city." In 1871 Henry and Elizabeth employed a live-in servant. Elizabeth was a widow before 1881, and the Residence/Occupation records given here presume that she moved back to Chester after the death of her husband Henry WILLIAMS. |
