Following the death of her first husband John HICKSON in 1871, Hannah remarried, to Thomas THOMPSTONE in 1877. In 1911 Hannah was still declared "married" but was not with her husband John, rather she was living with her son William Deaville and his family. From The Manchester Evening News of 13 February 1917: "DEATHS - THOMPSTONE - On the 11th inst., at 90 Heaton Moor Road, Heaton Moor, HANNAH CRIMES THOMPSTONE, aged 76 years, the beloved wife of Thomas THOMPSTONE. Interment at Willow Grove Cemetery, Reddish, to-morrow (Wednesday)." |
