EVANS - The wedding took place on Saturday at St. Deiniol's Church, of Miss Mary Elizabeth Evans, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Evans, 43, North-terrace, Hawarden, and Mr. Robert Chrimes, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Chrimes, of 33, Gladstone-road, Neston. Rev. F.W. Meager and Rev. F.T. Barber officiated, and the organist was Mr. Eric Bryan. The bride wore ... The best man was Mr. R▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ Chrimes, cousin of the bridegroom and the Labour Parliamentary candidate for Wirral. The reception, attended by 60 guests, was held at the Gymnasium, Hawarden. The honeymoon is being spent in London, the bride travelling in a maroon velour coat with accessories to tone. The bride is on the staff of the Chester Food Office and the bridegroom is assistant water engineer to Neston U.D.C." |
