Robert Frederick served in WWI as Private in the Glasgow Yeomanry. Service Numbers: 1730, 9505 A record of admission to hospital during service in World War I (FindMyPast) probably relates to Robert Frederick, though the record refers simply to "R F Crimes" whose service number was 1730 and who served in the Glasgow Geo [Yeo?] Corps. A 1914 Glasgow High School Roll of Honour records "R F Crimes" as Trooper in the Queen's Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry. In 1921 Robert Frederick was employed by F[rancis] Hinde & Sons Ltd. Silk Manufacturer of St. Mary's Silk Mills, Dale St., Norwich. I cannot find Robert Frederick on the 1939 Register. He was not living with his wife and son. |
