From The Cheshire Observer of 29 December 1972: "Mrs. E. Crimes - The death occurred, on Christmas Day, of Mrs. Ellen Crimes, aged 49, of 61, Pine Grove, Hoole. Mrs. Crimes was the widow of Mr. Michael Patrick Crimes, a chef of the West Cheshire Hospital Group, who died on 14th. December. Mrs. Crimes took an interest in knitting and reading, She was fond of all animals, and kept two dogs. She is survived by three sons, two daughters and four grandchildren. The funeral is arranged to take place on Wednesday, with a service at St. Werburgh's Church, at 2 p.m." Ellen and her husband Michael Patrick died within a period of 11 days. Ellen's Grant of Administration reads: "CRIMES, Ellen of 61 Pine Gro Hoole Chester died 25 December 1972 Administration Sheffield 10 July £1663" From The Cheshire Observer of 27 August 1976: "BIRTHDAY REMEMBRANCES - CRIMES Joe - Treasured birthday memories of our dearest dad, 30th August, and our dear sister-in-law Nell, 16th August. - Loved and remembered always, Mary, Peter, Etty, Johnny, Nelly, Mike, Bertha, Flo, Joe and family." |
