From The Cheshire Observer of 24 April 1970: "THE LATE MRS. E.W. CRIMES The death occured on 11th April of Mrs. Louisa Mary Crimes, of 7, Holly Road. Aged 43, she was the wife of Mr. Ernest William Crimes, and a daughter of Mrs. and of the late Mr. F. Cooper. She is survived by her husband, two sons and three daughters, all of whom are engaged in various capacities with the City Hospitals and Ambulance Services. The funeral took place on 16th April when a service at St. Mark's Church was conducted by Rev. F.T. Howard. The mourners included: The Widower, Mrs. Cooper (mother), Mr. and Mrs. Crimes (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs. and Mrs. M. Pendlebury (son-in-law and daughter), Miss L▮▮▮▮ Crimes, Miss C▮▮▮▮ Crimes (daughters), Mr. D▮▮▮▮ Crimes (son), Ian and Lisa (grandchildren), Mr. and Mrs. D▮▮▮▮ Roberts (brother and sister-in-law), ... Mr. and Mrs. J▮▮▮ Crimes (brother-in-law and sister-in-law) ..."
