In the 1921 England Census James Charles and Marie Dora (siblings) were living together at Birmingham. In 1921 Marie Dora was employed by 'W.E. Bourne, Chain Maker' of '171 Sherlock St., Birmingham'. The 1948 Westminster marriage to CREED is indexed as both CHRIMES and HIETT. It had been thought that the CHRIMES reference was to another Marie D, but the marriage data for both records is such a good match that it must relate to the same person. Marie Dora's Grant of Probate reads: "CREED, Marie Dora of Flat 5 90 Dorset Rd Bexhill East Sx died 27 June 1982 Probate Brighton 12 August." |
