SEES REASON Two retail greengrocers with stalls at the Queen Victoria Market were fined a total of £7 in the Fourth City Court today for breaches of the National Security (Prices) Regulations. They were : Ronald Ezro [sic] Chrimes, of Holbrook Crescent, West Brunswick, fined £2 with 10/6 costs on each of two charges, and ..." The judge was sympathetic, acknowledging that the produce was bought wholesale at a high price, causing the defendant to charge a correspondingly high retail price.
Ronald Ezra died in Australia.
