Elizabeth Alice was admitted to Crowton Church of England Primary School on 9 January 1911 and left that school on 19 December 1919 to become "Full-time Domestic". In 1921 Elizabeth Alice was living with her father William, widower. Elizabeth Alice's marriage record is chosen on the basis of age and location, and is confirmed by the 1939 Register. CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1937 marriage as "Runcorn, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended" but this should be treated with caution as the ceremony may have been Methodist. |
