In the 1871 UK Census William Henry was declared as "son" of George Henry CRIMES and Eliza BOOTHROYD but in fact he was the child of their unmarried daughter Margaret. William Henry was admitted to Chester College School on 19 January 1880. He left that school on 23 December 1880 "John St. Wesleyan". In the 1881 England Census Eliza was living with her daughter Margaret Standring (widow) and Margaret's son William Henry CRIMES. I cannot find William Henry beyond the 1881 UK Census. There is a 1890 marriage at Altrincham, but this could also be of William Henry CRIMES b.1861 who lived at Altrincham. Electoral Register records for 1901-3 Liverpool may apply. |
