The following, from The Liverpool Echo of 21 July 1964. MAY APPLY to this Edith: ".. Alexander Mullin, aged 29, lodging in Castle Street, Chester, pleaded guilty to breaking into the shop of Mrs. Edith Crimes, Lower Bridge Street, Chester, and stealing two radios worth £38 2s 6d. He was fined £10 ..." There are similar reports in 1961 and 1962. Edith's Grant of Probate reads: "CRIMES, Edith of 5 College Green Handbridge Chester died 22 December 1990 Probate Liverpool 26 March [1991] £150791." |
