In 1881 Elizabeth, widow, was living with her brother John and his family in Sale. A Find-a-Grave record in the name 'Blanche Elizabeth Chrimes Percival' clearly applies to this Elizabeth, though the name Blanche does not appear on the gravestone! The gravestone is inscribed: "In Loving Memory of our Dear Mother Elizabeth relict of the late Geo. Percival M.A. who died June 6th 1898 aged 73 years". Elizabeth's grant of administration reads: "PERCIVAL Elizabeth of Burlington-house Sale Cheshire widow died 6 June 1898 Administration London 12 September to George Chrimes Percival methodist-minister Effects £1236 14s 2d." |
