Mary had married WILKINSON, before being widowed then marrying Joseph CRIMES. In the 1871 England Census Mary, "widow", had living with her a "daughter" Sarah Cawley, believed in fact to be her niece, the daughter of Mary's sister Sarah. From The Liverpool Echo of 3 July 1884: "DEATHS CRIMES - June 27, at the residence of her son-in-law, 13, Ullswater street, Breck-road, Everton, aged 76 years, Mary, widow of the late Joseph Crimes, of Chester." |
