John was the "Second Son" of John CHRIMES, shoemaker.
I cannot find John on the 1841 UK Census.
From The Manchester Times of 6 May 1848: "DEATHS - On the 28th ult., aged 36 years, Mr. John Chrimes, of Broughton-road, Salford."
This opens up the possibility of the 1833 marriage to Mary DAVIES, who re-married in 1850 after John's death.
John's burial record states that he died of "insanity".
