From The Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser of 23 April 1866: "DEATHS CRIMES - April 16, Mr. George Crimes, of Cheetham, late of Silk-street, Salford."
George's Proving of Will record reads: "CRIMES George 18 June. The Will of George Crimes late of Cheetham in the Parish of Manchester in the County of Lancaster Townsman deceased who died 16 April 1866 at Cheetham aforesaid was proved at Manchester by the oaths of Samuel Crimes of 14 Birch Street Waterloo Road Cheetham aforesaid Warehouseman the Son and Thomas Duckworth of Lower Lilly Hill Blackford Bridge near Whitefield in the County aforesaid Mechanic the Executors. Effects under £200."
