In 1921 Louisa, 'Servant', was employed by Mr. Birch at The Lymes, Weaverham. In 1939 Louisa was living in Northwich with her parents, but her husband was not present. He was living in Gorstage. From The Crewe Chronicle of 29 June 1972: "MRS. L. CHRIMES The interment took place in Northwich Cemetery on Friday last week of Mrs. Louisa Chrimes, aged 75, of 15 David-street, Northwich. Capt. Mary Bond, of the Salvation Army conducted the service at the house and the Rev. Vaughgan [sic] Griffith officiated at Holy Trinity Church, Castle ..." No-one named CHRIMES appears in the list of mourners or wreaths. |
