On the 1841 UK Census. Lydia was aged 2, living with just her mother Martha. Lydia's marriage register entry leaves blank the places for "Father" and "Father's occupation" I presume that Lydia was the illegitimate child of Martha. Lydia used the name Lydia Andow CHRIMES at her marriage. On the 1871 UK Census Lydia was already a widow. On the 1911 UK Census Lydia was living with her 47 year old unmarried daughter Mary. A Deaths Index record for Lydia Plant 1916 Q4 Warrington born 1838 may apply. |
