There is another baptism record for Sarah Jane, on 17 June 1860, giving birth date as March 1854. It is baffling that Sarah Jane should have an older sister named Sarah, but both appear on the 1861 UK Census. Sarah Jane's Grant of Administration reads: "REDDISH Sarah Jane of Trevyr-house St. Catherine's-road Grantham Lincolnshire (wife of William Leassing Reddish) died 17 February 1906 Administration London 5 March to the said William Leassing Reddish commission-agent Effects £125 11s. 9d." |
