In the 1901 England Census Kate Elaine was living with her grandparents Thomas CRIMES b.1855 and Mary Ellen LEAKE. Kate Elaine is connected to her mother by her baptism record. Although her mother married Thomas HARDING in 1901, Kate Elaine does not appear on the 1911 England Census with them. She does however appear in the 1921 England Census with them, correctly declared as 'step-daughter'. In the 1921 England Census Kate Eileen was named 'Eileen Chrimes'. |
