From The Cheshire Observer of 6 August 1938: "TARVIN - WEDDING - The wedding took place at The Parish Church on Monday of Miss Martha Chrimes, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Chrimes, of Stapleford, and Mr. Cecil Lightfoot, of Kelsall. Rev. J.L. Sloane, of Kelsall, officiated, and Mrs. Barker was at the organ. Mr. A. Chrimes (Coventry), brother of the bride, was best man. The Bride, who was given away by her father, wore ... A reception was held at the bride's home, where 30 guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Lightfoot will reside in Chester. The bouquets were placed on the family graves."
I cannot find Martha or Cecil on the 1939 Register.
I cannot find a death record for Martha, but she is not named as a mourner at her father's funeral in 1956, whereas her husband Cecil is, so I presume that she died before 1956.
