Samuel is mentioned in the 1677 will of his father Samuel CHRIMES as "my son Samuel Chrimes" who had not attained the age of 17 years at that date, but was inferred to be the oldest child. An inventory of Samuel's possessions was prepared after his death, this document giving his date of death. This inventory is accessible online at FamilySearch.org. The same document confirms that he was a bachelor at death. |
