The 1896 marriage record is in the name 'Lum'. Columbus W's obituary published 11 February 1921 reads: "Columbus W Crymes, well-known and popular citizen of Atlanta, where he had lived for more than twenty years, died at a private hospital Wednesday night. He was well known throughout the south-east having traveled for years for an Atlanta hardware company, being connected with the latter at the time of his death. Mr. Crymes was forty-five years of age and is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Horace Hickson, and Miss Lenora Crymes; one son, Ernest Crymes, all of this city, and by six brothers and two sisters. He was a Mason and a member of the United Commercial Travelers. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at the chapel of Harry G Poole, and interment will be at Sylvester cemetery." |
