From the Find-a-Grave record: "Mr. Crymes was killed when the iron frame of an awning on which he was working, came into contact with a wire charged with 22,000 volts of electricity. He passed en route to the hospital. The Ford Motor company plant closed at noon in honor of Mr. Crymes. Mr. Crymes was a machinist for the company and had been employed for seven years there. Mr. Crymes was 45 years old."
