The 1920 US Federal Census states that Philip Nelson was a widower, suggesting that he married between 1900 (single) and 1920. This conflicts with the Historical Sketch of the Crymes Family, which has "Phillip, who never married.". The Death Certificate declares Phillip [sic] to be "single" so this is taken as correct.
More confusion arises from the Find-a-Grave record of Rosa PARRISH which declares her to be the wife of Philip Nelson whereas I believe her to be the wife of Newton L CRYMES.
