| From M J Wilson: "On ancestry I found his escape happened in September of 1910, they have it listed as J J Crynes in the Georgia, U.S., Central Register of Convicts, 1817-1976 but the image shows its actually Crymes. While on the run he changed his last name to the supercommon Wilson, which is why you never found his death record. He died October 22, 1929 in Owensboro, Kentucky. He only had 1 child, a daughter Viola, so even if he had been living using his real name the Crymes name would not have continued." |
