From a newspaper report of Alton D's death: "Final rites today for A D Crymes auto crash victim. Funeral services for Alton D Crymes, 24 years old, of 656 Moreland avenue, who was almost instantly killed early Sunday night at the intersection of Baker and Ivy streets, when the automobile he was driving struck the rear of another machine, will be conducted at 11 o'clock this morning from the Moreland Avenue Baptist church.....
