Jane's obituary from The Joplin Globe of Saturday 21 July 1962 reads: "Mrs. Jane Cantrell Cook Crymes, 82 years old, died at 11:30 o'clock Friday morning in her home on Oronogo route 1. She had been ill six months. Born in Marshfield December 28 1879, Mrs. Crymes had lived in Joplin 30 years before moving to rural Oronogo 15 years ago. She was a member of the Prospect Methodist church. She was the widow of Lee Crymes who died in 1957. Her only immediate survivor is a son, Wesley B Cook of the home." The wording suggests that Jane may have married COOK before marrying Lee CRYMES. |
