From Find-a-Grave: "JACK ARNOLD CRYMES Mr. Jack Arnold Crymes, age 77, of Rome, passed away at a local health care facility on Monday, June 22, 2015. Mr. Crymes was born August 3, 1937 in Atlanta, GA, son of the late Thomas Melvin and Lilly Maude Crymes. Jack was a graduate of Chamblee High School (Chamblee, GA) and a retired construction worker. After moving to Lindale, Jack worked at the YMCA Grizzard Park Concession Stand. Jack was 'Jack' to everyone. He was known for his generosity, kindness and humor. Jack was an avid sports fan who especially loved watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He loved the Rome Braves, the Atlanta Braves, and his dear chihuahua, Abby. He was preceded in death by his brother Bob Crymes and sisters Melvin Dove, Liz Webb and Mary Tom Gravitt. Survivors include his wife B▮▮▮▮ Crymes and children J▮▮ (N▮▮▮▮) Williams, Rome, GA; C▮▮▮▮ (S▮▮▮) Collins, Buford, GA; C▮▮▮▮ Kyle, Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Chris (Renee) Rainwater, Cumming, GA; Phillip (Caitlin) Rainwater, Wilmington, NC; Kellie (Mike) Hardy, Pensacola, FL; Jamie (Matt) Brynteson, Cedartown, GA; Hunter Kyle, Alpharetta, GA; Trent (Olivia) Kyle, Loganville, GA; Ainsley (Robert) Morgan, Maricopa, AZ; and Allison (Andy) Kretschmar, Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren Cannon, Emory, Ella, Reed, Judd, Tristan, Nolan, McKenzie, and Navy James. Also surviving are his brother-in-law J▮▮▮▮▮ Gravitt, sister-in-law P▮▮ Crymes, and several nieces and nephews survive. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 24th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Henderson and Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tom McElroy and Rev. Larry Russell. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. The family may be contacted at the home of J▮▮ and N▮▮▮▮ Williams, #1 College View Drive, Rome, GA.
