Elsie Esther and her husband Charles William Anthony CHRIMES were first cousins, per information from J BUTLER.
From https://www.pmhps.org.au/street-precinct/biochrimes.htm "Elsie bought 79 Evans Street, probably from the Webster family about 1949 but they did not move in until about 1952. Perhaps because there was some problem about getting the Coopers to move out. Their son, B... thinks that in the end they might have done a house swap with the Coopers."
Elsie Esther is mentioned in the newspaper death notice for her brother Alan John who died in 2011.
Elsie Esther's Death Notice reads: "CHRIMES. - Elsie, passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2004, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of Charles (dec.). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Charles and Jan (dec.), Brian and Patricia, Malcolm and Jan, Alan and Angela, Graeme and Carole.... "
The couples Malcolm/Jan and Alan/Angela are not known to be Elsie's children, but the wording of the Death Notice does not tell us whether the male or the female of the couples are her children.
Subsequent inspection of the Electoral Rolls strongly suggests that Alan John CHRIMES was the child of Elsie Esther Chrimes and married Angela May Chrimes nee UNKNOWN.
