In 1921 William Alfred was employed by Welford's Surrey Dairies of 27 High Street, South Norwood. From ancestry public member tree by soaring222: ""Capt." Blake's 1st marriage - but, he and "Doris" were divorced (1924) when their son was just four (he [the son] later died in 1944 during WWII); Capt. Blake's 2nd marriage was to her cousin, Marjorie Agnes Couchman". Unfortunately this is incorrect. A daughter was born in 1923 and George Sackville BLAKE was born in 1925. He did however die in 1944 in WWII at the age of 19 years. |
