Ivy Rowlands is connected to her mother by her Births Index record for Ivy ROWLANDS, mother ROWLANDS (father not declared) one year before Lilian ROWLANDS married James CRIMES. My supposition that Ivy's name was changed to CRIMES when her mother married is supported by the 1921 England Census which gives the name as simply 'Ivy Crimes'. The 1939 Register record is annotated with the name WHITE and 10 5 79 suggesting another later marriage. A marriage record for 1979 Q1 South Glamorgan may apply. |
