Ellis is described in Devon, Visitation Of The County Of Devon In 1620 as "Ellis Crimes s. and h., aet. 5, 1620" Ellis had 13 children by his first wife Mary DRAKE. Following her death in 1652 he married Rebecca ENGLAND at Camberwell, London in 1653, with whom he had a further 13 children. Following the death of Rebecca in 1666 Ellis married Jane FURLONG in 1679. |
