From The Sumter Life of 17 October 2004: "Crymes - Tierney CHARLESTON - Dr. L▮▮▮▮▮ H▮▮▮▮▮▮ Crymes and J▮▮▮▮▮ J▮▮▮ Tierney Jr. were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at St. James Episcopal Church. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Burke Crymes of Charleston, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas George Crymes, Jr., of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Pou Herlong of Paxville. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science degree and from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree. She is employed by West Ashley and Northwoods Veterinary Clinics in Charleston. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J▮▮▮▮▮ J▮▮▮ Tierney of Charleston, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis Aloysius Tierney of Montclair, N.J., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Irwin Stanley of Lake Mohawk, N.J. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts degree and from the Mississippi College School of Law with a juris doctor degree. He is an associate with Young Clement Rivers, LLP, in Charleston. The Rev. Arthur M. Jenkins officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Richard L. Scott, organist; and the Charleston Renaissance Ensemble. The bride was given away by her father. Dr. L▮▮▮ W▮▮▮▮▮▮ Crymes, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were D▮▮▮▮▮▮ I▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ Crymes, Dr. Melissa Lynn Butler, Dr. Amy Harris Harper, ... The bridegroom's father and Kevin Patrick Tierney, brother of the bridegroom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Dr. W▮▮▮▮▮▮ B▮▮▮▮ Crymes Jr., .... The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at Bowen's Island. Following a wedding trip to the British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Charleston." |
