The 1982 Residence Fact is from the Phone Book for Rochdale which includes several CHRIMESs.
There are several notices in The London Gazette from 1965 to 1983 in the style of: "That the Company be wound up voluntarily, and that Brian Rosby Chrimes, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

From The Rochdale Observer of 21 February 2018: "BRIAN CHRIMES Passed away peacefully 11th February 2018, aged 81 years. Loving husband of the late Shelagh and Dad to G▮▮▮▮▮, I▮▮▮ and L▮▮▮. Much Loved Papa, Grandad and Great Grandad. And friend to many. Funeral to be held at Rochdale Crematorium at 10:40 am Thursday 22nd February....."
