John Edward's full name comes from the birth certificate of his son D▮▮▮▮ S▮▮▮▮▮▮. This John E CHRIMES is believed to be the father of D▮▮▮▮ S▮▮▮▮▮▮ and P▮▮▮▮▮▮ A based on the Birth Certificate of D▮▮▮▮ S▮▮▮▮▮▮ CHRIMES, and there is no other John E CHRIMES in this research who fits the scenario. John Edward was a Sergeant in the Royal Air Force, which may explain why there is no UK record of his marriage. The fact of his wife's trip to Hong Kong in 1954 as a photographer lends support to this argument. See notes for his wife S▮▮▮▮▮ D▮▮▮▮▮ MARTIN for newspaper article prior to the 1954 marriage. From The Lincolnshire Standard and Boston Guardian of 28 August 1954: "CHRIMES - MARTIN At Hong Kong on August 21st 1954 John E Chrimes to S▮▮▮▮▮ D▮▮▮▮▮ Martin." The 1982 Darlington marriage is assigned to this John E as a second marriage because it is consistent with age 75 being given for Electoral Roll records for John E and J▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ at Darlington for 2002-2014. |
