From The Cheshire Observer of 2 November 1984: "[PHOTOGRAPH] Miss S▮▮▮▮ M▮▮▮ Chrimes, formerly of 36 School Lane, Sandiway, daughter of Mr. Alan B. Chrimes, and Mr. T▮▮▮▮▮▮ J▮▮▮ Byrne of 9 Ellison Court, Chester, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Byrne, were married at Christ Church, Chester, on 15th September. The service was performed by Rev. D.F. Willmer and the best man was Mr. Christopher Byrne (bridegroom's brother). The bride wore a full-length gown of white lace and a headdress of white flowers. The bridesmaids were Misses T▮▮▮▮ Chrimes, J▮▮▮▮▮ Byrne, S▮▮▮▮ Byrne and R▮▮▮▮▮ Byrne. Two wore turquoise dresses and two wore lilac and all wore floral headdresses. Following a reception at the Oaklands Hotel, Chester, the couple left for a honeymoon in the Isle of Man."
