From The Coventry Telegraph of 8 August 1964: "Kenilworth cadets' 1,000-mile holiday. [PHOTOGRAPH] Adventures on a Continental holiday in an old bus by Cliff Richard and his friends in the musical "Summer Holiday" seem to have caught the imagination of seven Army Cadets and three of their officers from Kenilworth... Among the camping equipment and personal kit packed into the omnivan are the tools of one of the cadets, G▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ Chrimes, a 16 years old apprentice garage mechanic, just in case the vehicle meets any trouble on the journey..." From The Peterborough Evening Telegraph of August 1991 [PHOTOGRAPH]: "Off to waters new! Licencees G▮▮▮▮ and S▮▮▮▮ Chrimes will be leaving Yaxley's Duck and Drake pub next week. The couple are off to dip their feet in waters new in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, after two years at the Main Street pub. Mr. Chrimes said: 'I'm looking forward to taking a bit of a rest. We've enjoyed our time here but we're ready for something new.'" |
