In 1921 Harold was attending school 'Whole Time'. Harold appears on the 1939 Register as "Harold Chre?Ed (Crimes)" In the 1944 newspaper notice of his daughter's birth, Harold is described as "Lt. Harold Chrimes, R.A." From The Heywood Advertiser of 19 December 1974: "Take on disabled. AN APPEAL for more employers to take on the three per cent quota of disabled people into their works has been made by Mr. Harold Chrimes, chairman of the Rochdale and District Disablement Advisory Committee." |
